Product description

DairyTransit is a special feed for dairy cows designed for the targeted supply of rumen-protected methionine and plant-based ingredients that support metabolism and performance around calving and in early lactation.

Around calving, the demands on energy and nutrient supply increase significantly, while the cow's feed intake initially develops with a delay. A poor start to lactation affects the entire lactation period and can have a negative impact on performance, animal health, and profitability. Targeted supplementation can help support the cow through this demanding phase and cushion negative effects.
DairyTransit combines rumen-protected methionine with plant-based active components containing natural choline precursors that support metabolism. As an essential amino acid, methionine is important for protein synthesis and milk production, whilst also contributing to the removal of fat from the liver.
Choline precursors complement this metabolic approach: choline is involved in the formation of lipoproteins, which are needed to transport fat out of the liver. Plant-based choline precursors can therefore support fat and energy metabolism around calving.
A special protection process shields the methionine from breakdown in the rumen, enabling more targeted availability further along the digestive tract. DairyTransit can be easily integrated into existing feeding routines.

DairyTransit provides:
  • Targeted supply: Rumen-protected methionine and plant-based metabolites support metabolism around calving and in early lactation
  • Greater performance potential: Methionine supports protein synthesis; choline and its precursors support liver fat metabolism through lipoprotein formation
  • Economic efficiency and sustainability: Higher milk yield, lower nitrogen losses, a more stable metabolism, and a strong start to lactation

  • Higher performance
  • Stable start to lactation
  • Time savings through reduced management effort
  • More profit
Dairy cows:
60 g per animal per day.

Recommended use from three weeks before until 15 weeks after calving.
